I am a sucker for some of the more ???romantic??? films. I don???t know why, but ???City of Angels??? comes to mind immediately. I put a box of tissues next to me on the sofa, and dive deep into the picture.
I have not seen ???Stranger than Paradise???, but I will watch it this weekend! Do I need tissues????
I like a film from Mexico, that mixes the tastes of food with the emotions of life. It was made from the book. ???Como Aqua para Chocolate???. (Like water for chocolate). If you haven???t seen it, please take a look.

Yeah I know ???Como Aqua para Chocolate???. I saw it a long time ago now??? very nice film!
I am not much of a tissue user so I won???t be much help here??? but I would say no.
Anyway, as I am not very reliable on this, keep some close just in case!

I read the reviews at Amazon.com, and it doesn???t look like I need the tissues. Looks like something I will definitely enjoy, though!
I thought of a lot of movies I want to know if you know about them???but, first, you probably do, and second, I will wait for the next shows on cinema and I am sure some of them will be mentioned.
Great show, by the way! I really enjoyed seeing another love of Saskia!
Thank you so much for always doing a wonderful show!

What a great show Saskia! As a film critic of sorts (check out my site!), this show was quite a treat for me.
Couldn’t agree more with you about #1 — it is a great film, and one of his best. (Though lately I’ve begun to think LOVE STREAMS is even better than A WOMAN UNDER THE INFLUENCE.)
Glad to see that your a Coixet fan as well — I think her films are simply beautiful.
Can I ask a question — what was the piano music that you used during your introduction? It sounds very familiar. . .

Filmbrain you rocks!
We should do another ASAYL special Kino together!
Well the loop which sounds familiar to you is actually coming from “A Woman Under the Influence”…

I’d love to do a Kino special with you!
