ASAYL! #10 - Saskia Loves French Jazz
This show is dedicated to French Jazz and co-hosted by my great friend Pablo. We talk about us and about music like always!
I point out the recent World Summit on Information Society that took place in Tunisia, a country under dictatorship.

Great podcast! This is the first episode I’ve listened to thusfar and I have one minor quibble. There is a large discrepancy between loudness of the music and the dialogue. Maybe if you compressed the music audio a bit it would help.
Keep up the great work!
ps. I heard about your podcast from the PK and J Show.

Hey Saskia
Great show.. I agree the voices should be louder . I wanted to mention that the Knitting Factory has changed a lot in a few years. It used to be mostly or all jazz. Now it is all about rock. John was playing a lot at Tonic on Norfolk Street , but this year he founded The Stone which is a club that sells no drinks at all or food and all the money collected goes right to the musicians who played that night. It seats about 50. A different musician curates or books each month. So there is more variation than in some clubs.
By the way , I tried your voicemail and I got a digital sound.. like a fax maxchine.. do you know if it works now ?

Hello all!
We’re working on the sound of this show…some background noise should be removed first before we can increase the volume of voices.
see ya !

Hiya!
I just uploaded a new version of the show which should be more pleasant to listen to because I do care about your ears!
I would like to apologize for the crappy recording this week due to some technical issues.
Tom - I would say this digital sound is not normal. I am wondering if the account is still active… I will sort this out but for now please send me audio comment by email.
Merci !
