I read an article at Salon.com once about Thurston Moore lamenting the decline of the mix tape. In a way, ASAYL is a bit like that proverbial mix tape. So, Thurston, it’s not completely dead! So here’s your new tagline “As Serious As Your Life: A mix-tape for the 21st Century.”
Mmmm… now I must pour a finger or two of whiskey in a tumbler glass, turn the lights down, it’s 3:48am EDT, and put in my cd player Tom Waits’ “Frank’s Wild Years.” Thanks for the inspiration, Saskia!
P.S. Fellow Saskia fans, stalkers and devotees, do fill out the survey. It is quite painless. Plus it will mean you’ll have stronger bones, a shiny coat and it kills gingivitis.
